Sounds interesting, but I would suggest you to get a picture of the engine first and do some "art" work with it on your computer to see how is gonna look.
Since you have an all white car in general, a white plenum might be a good idea, but the extra colors (red and blue) could damage the looks, so you need to check it out first doing some tests in your computer.
I think if you do the colors, just do a couple of hoses, not all of them.
And I wouldn't spend money polishing the valve covers, cause you just see like 15% of them, I would just clean them and maybe polish them myself as good as I can, and thats it.
post a pic or two when you done ;)
